Sanjay Kapoor’s Sister Alleges Priya Sachdev Draws ₹5 Crore Monthly, Holds Family Assets

The ongoing dispute over the vast ₹30,000 crore estate of late Sanjay Kapoor, former husband of Karisma Kapoor, has intensified, drawing media attention across India. While Sanjay’s widow Priya Sachdev claims entitlement to the estate, his mother and sister have challenged her claims, asserting that Karisma’s children also have a rightful share. Recently, Sanjay Kapoor’s sister Mandhira Kapoor made a startling allegation, claiming that Priya receives a monthly salary of ₹5 crore.

Mandhira sharply criticized Priya Sachdev on the Incontroversial podcast, responding to Priya’s earlier statement that Rani Kapoor, Sanjay’s mother, still receives ₹21 lakh per month from the family’s holding company AIPL, along with personal expenses managed as during Sanjay’s lifetime. Mandhira dismissed this claim as false, stating that Priya has taken control of the finances and now draws nearly ₹5 crore every month.

Mandhira explained, “It is shameful that my mother is left with only ₹12 lakh. Earlier, she used to receive ₹21 lakh, which after taxes and deductions came down to ₹13 lakh, and now it has fallen further to ₹12 lakh.” She added, “Meanwhile, Priya, an outsider, is drawing ₹3–5 crore monthly, having taken control of everything. She receives ₹1 crore from just one company while my mother, the founder’s heir, gets only ₹12 lakh.”

Mandhira also emphasized, “Priya is not doing anyone any favor. The company belongs to my mother because my father will always remain tied to the Sona family, not the Sachdevs. Priya has no rightful claim and should confront the truth.”

Meanwhile, Sanjay Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, are challenging the legitimacy of a will presented by Priya, alleging it to be forged and fabricated to deprive them of their father’s estate. The legal battle in Delhi High Court continues, with both sides leveling serious allegations against each other.
