Agra: In an unusual incident at the Taj Mahal on Thursday, Aghori Sadhvi Chanchalnath, popularly known as Chanchal Mata, was stopped by security personnel after she arrived at the monument carrying a trishul (trident) in one hand and a damru (sacred drum) in the other. The CISF and ASI officials stationed at the eastern gate refused to allow her entry with the religious objects, citing security restrictions. The Sadhvi, dressed in traditional attire, agreed to leave the trishul and damru outside but requested to carry a small metal vessel with her, claiming it was the one she used for meals.
