Dehradun: In a major step to enhance air connectivity to Uttarakhand’s hilly regions, the Government of Uttarakhand and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the acquisition and development of Naini Saini Airport, Pithoragarh, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. The historic MoU marks a significant stride toward seamless, safe, and sustainable air connectivity in the strategic Himalayan region.
