Alarming Eye Health Findings in Rajasthan Government Schools: Over 47,000 Students Identified with Weak Vision
Kota, Rajasthan: A recent eye health survey under the Rajasthan School Health Screening Program has revealed concerning statistics about students in government schools. Out of 7.5 million enrolled students, over 47,000 were found to have weak vision during eye tests conducted across the state. The Education Department is currently updating and analyzing this data to plan corrective measures.
Kota Students Receive Glasses
In Kota, eye tests were conducted in various government schools. Out of 1,020 students tested, 300 students were found to require glasses. 50 students have already received glasses, and efforts are underway to provide the remaining students with corrective lenses.
