New Delhi: A Delhi court has remanded Javed Ahmed Siddiqui, Chairman of Al-Falah University, to 13 days of Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody. Siddiqui was arrested just a day earlier, on 18th November, from Jamia Nagar, Delhi. Details of the Case The arrest is linked to a ₹415 crore alleged fraud. Authorities claim that Al-Falah University misrepresented its academic credentials to generate more than ₹415 crore. The ED took Siddiqui into custody under Section 19 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
